Information technology's embarrassing to say how long I've been using GIMP without knowing how to describe a straight line, only ... skipping that ... hither'south a quick tutorial on how to draw a direct line with GIMP.
GIMP straight line: Stride 1
Step ane is to take an epitome yous want to describe a direct line on. I'll assume you accept a practical image to piece of work on, but for my purposes I'll describe a direct line in black on a white sail. Here'due south my white sheet:
